Good morning, CharterFolk.
I hope your week is off to a great start.
I wanted to make another effort to encourage you all to get your vote in for the CharterFolk of the Year Award. We have had a very big turnout so far. It’s been amazingly gratifying to see so many people supporting our four CharterFolk of the Year Finalists.
- Jerel Bryant, Principal of G.W. Carver High School in New Orleans, Louisiana
- Delia Kumabe, Founder and Instructional Coach of EJE Academies in El Cajon, California
- Daniela Anello, Executive Director of DC Bilingual Public Charter School in Washington, DC
- Danielle West-Augustin, Chief Academic Officer and Director of Queen City Academy Charter School in Plainfield New Jersey
And the race is so close! Literally, the top three vote-receivers so far are within two percent points of each other, with the 4th place finalist not much further behind. Anyone could win this, and the ultimate winner could be determined by just a few votes. So don’t forget to submit your vote today.
Remember, any CharterFolk subscriber, paid or complimentary, is eligible to vote. So if you haven’t signed up yet, please do so here, and then proceed to our CharterFolk of the Year Voting Page. And encourage everyone in your network to vote as well.
The poll closes at mid-night Pacific time on June 4th, and we will announce the winner on June 8th, the one-year anniversary of CharterFolk.
Thank you again to all of our CharterFolk X awardees this year, and thank you to all CharterFolk readers for doing your part to help celebrate the extraordinary people working in our nation’s charter schools.
